Proceeds will be donated to the Help I am Free outreach program’s performance at the Artscape in September 2017. Help I am Free gives parolees the opportunity to share further insights into the cycle of crime and violence in Cape Town and hopes to create a platform for constructive dialogue in the process. These men are trying their best to make a new life for themselves but their “metamorphosis” hinges on society’s attitudes towards supportive reintegration. With this event, we hope to raise some money for paid employment in a positive professional environment.
